Educators & School Partners

Our middle school teachers are passionate about science and engineering. During the summer, they participate in face-to-face, highly interactive professional development seminars where they review the curriculum, study science-centric pedagogical techniques that facilitate inquiry-based learning, and share ideas and success stories. They then orchestrate classroom implementation and deliver rigorous instruction aligned with a curriculum they co-construct with the Interactive Learning and Design Lab.

Our teachers are highly valued and critical to the design-based research process, working with us year after year. Their constant formative and summative feedback allow for each iteration of the curricula to better benefit their students.
